Catching up

I have been reading and commenting on a lot of blogs in the past few weeks but not writing a whole lot.    I like to write usually two post per week but lately it has been a lot less.  I've had a lot of stuff on my mind lately and maybe that's the reason??  Any who here are some updates about me :) 

Monthly Challenge
 
It was a great experience with diet bet.  I was close to winning.  I had to lose 9.8 pounds in 28 days.  I ended up losing 9 pounds so I am happy with the results.  I wouldn't do it every month but I would definitely do another one in the future.  Thanks Courtney for hosting the bet.  ( You should check out her blog it's amazing)   I am giving myself an A for effort on this challenge. 

I have been racking my brain on what I wanted to do for this month for a challenge.  Should I do physical, mental, etc.   I finally decided and you may think it's simple but to drink 2000 ml of water a day. Water is so important yet I never drink enough of it and I have to admit I drink way too much Diet Pepsi since I work at restaurant it's free so it is hard not to.  I am a little late on the challenge but starting tomorrow I will be focusing and keeping track by using an app on my new iPhone ;)    Side note any cool apps that you love that you would like to share??? 

Winter Bucket list

Rob and I accomplish snowshoeing about a week ago.  It was so pretty and quite I can't wait to do it again!!! It's a great workout  too :)

  2. You should be very proud of yourself, I know I am. Drinking more water is a wonderful goal . The diet coke/pepsi thing is not an easy one to beat, congratualations to you LiZ. It appears it's all or nothing with me when it comes to diet pop so in Februay I plan to give it and hopefully for good this time. MomQ.

  4. Wow! 9 lbs. is amazing. I also love the diet pop a little too much. I've cut down to one a week as a treat. Drinking more water is a great goal and will definitely make you feel better.

    1. Thanks Mary. I am going to to take baby steps to not drink as much diet Pepsi and I think this challenge of drinking more water will help!

  5. Great job on losing 9 pounds! Wow!! As for the diet pop, I hear ya. I've been an addict since the late 80s, but last April I gave it up. Haven't had any pop since!!

    I would love to try snow shoeing...I hear it's a great way to exercise and have fun!!
