A good day!

Today I feel really good!!  I have been feeling anxious for the the last week and today I had no anxiety!

I had a great workout with Jen !!   I have been keeping track of my calories/miles since August  and I have noticed I burn the most when I work out with her!!  She motivates me and pushs me to try harder.  She is super supportive.   I'm lucky to have a best friend like that :)

Rob ( my boyfrind ) even came to the gym with us.  He did a different machine than Jen and I but I am so proud with his weightloss and getting back into a workout routine.  I have to laugh, After our workout Rob and I  actually high fived each other and said yeah team!!!!   lol  Go Quinn and Soublier Team!!!  Nothings going to stop us now.

Weight in

I weighed in..........  It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be considering what I have eaten in the last six weeks.

Current weight: 234

I have gained 5 pounds since September but it is all muscle lol yeah right!
Back on track!

Calories burned this week: 1300

Learning something new

For the longest time I didn't know how to put a picture side by side.  I love the internet it can pretty much show you how to do anything!    I used paint to fix this picture.

A little afraid but I will do it anyway!

Weigh-in  is tomorrow and I am super afraid of what number I am going to see!!    My work outs have been good.  But if I am going to be truly honest my eating has been really bad for the last six weeks.  But I am going to see that number tomorrow whatever it is and work from there.

I have been feeling pretty anxious lately, especially at work.  I think it has to do with working nights and the lack of sunlight.   Fall is always the hardest time of year  for me. That is one of the main reasons for overeating.

A couple of my goals this week is to get as much sunlight as I can and to take a yoga/Body Flow class.   These two things will help with my anxiety.

On a plus note :  I burned 1200 calories at the gym!!!!   I reached my goal for calories burned this week!

New Design and New Commitments

I felt like a change, so here is  the  new look to my blog.  Whatcha think?    So far this week I have burned 400 calories.  Eating is still meh... What I Need to do is get serious with the scale again..... It hasn't been my friend lately but I think it is important to have a weekly weight in and monthly updates of my inches.  Starting next Monday I am going to weight in and be honest with myself and to you my fellow readers.  ( Hi Mom!   Thanks for being my support on this blog and yes Jen I know you have read it too...  Shout out to Jane not sure how much everyone reads it)

In conclusion:

1.  Weigh in's: Monday (even if it is a plus)  I have issues telling people I have gained weight because I feel like a big disappointment.  I know this  is something I need to change and I am changing it here!
2.  At the beginning of each month I will take my measurement.

What commitments are you going to make?

It is the little things

I have not posted in a while.  I have been feeling mad at   myself for not eating the way I KNOW I should.   I know this is always going to be a challenge for me but right now it feels so out of control!

I recently had a "AHA" moment.  I was watching The Biggest Loser and seeing the emotions and all the hard work the contestant do makes me have hope again.

I went to the gym three times this week and worked my butt off each time.   I have to be proud that. I try to push myself harder each time I go.  I am slowly focusing on the positive changes my body has made due to my workout sessions.   One being: I am seeing definition in my upper abs.  You can actually see a line in the middle of my abs and on the sides.  I really need to celebrate that it's a BIG DEAL.   (Baby steps I guess haha) My arms are also getting firmer and I able to do 3 set of 10 half push ups, 2 months ago  I had to do a modified half push up.  I am getting closer to my goal of 20 full ups!!!

Although I have not lost any weight in the last month.  My friend lend me two dresses to try on and they both fit!  Size 14!!!!  Last year at this time I was in size 16.  Since dress sizes are little different then pant sizes I am on my way to fitting into a size 14 pant I cannot wait!   I may not be losing weight at the moment but I am losing inches.  In a couple weeks I will take my measurements  and let know you know exactly where I am at.

One of the past contestant on The Biggest Loser asked What is your golden WHY to lose weight?  At first I couldn't answer but I know I want to feel Strong, Beautiful and Healthy.

My sleep has been very frustrating lately!    I have gotten a full physical, blood work, been to sleep labs and  alternative medicine.  There is still no answer to why I am having such a hard time getting a restful sleep.  This has been going on for over 10 years but I am not going to give up trying to find the answer and I know in my heart this will help with my weight loss.

Total Calories burned this week: 1084

This week coming up I would like to burn 1200.

How many calories do you want to burn this week??

and

What is your golden WHY for losing weight?

Calories Burned

It was a long weekend at work but honestly overall I love my job.  It is nice to see customers I haven't seen since  the spring :)  I  work hard when I am there but it also feels like a big social gathering too,  which is a good balance.

I realized something new about myself.  I sometimes get self conscious when I am serving a big hockey team because I feel I don't have the rock'in body.  I know I am an attractive person but what really gets  me the tips is being myself.  Goofy and bubbly.  It's my personality what really sells and it has taking me this long to realize it.  The rock'in body will only get you so far in this industry.

I only went to the gym twice this week but in those two days I burned 1014.  I'm still getting adjusted to my new routine.   I can realistically work out 4 times a week.  I would love to work out more but with my schedule and my fatigue I think this is the best I can do without setting myself up for failure.

I started adding push ups to my routine to work towards one of my goals.

What one new thing can you add to you routine?
